Sleepy Hollow Whole House Remodel
Hard work during the design phase produced a great remodeling project. This three level whole-house remodel utilized existing spaces without altering the character of the original stone Cape Cod. The walk-out basement was finished with LVT flooring and a new basement bathroom and changing room were added for the nearby pool. On the main level, a poorly constructed sun room was deconstructed and merged with the kitchen to create a new open concept living, dining, kitchen. The kitchen features two tone finishes and a walnut island top. The laundry was moved from the basement to the main level and an original ironing board was retained. The master suite level was renovated and the master bathroom gutted. Two new shed dormers allowed additional natural light and space for the master bathroom and master closet. The project featured spray foam insulation and a completely revamped HVAC system including two dedicated split systems on the main and master suite level.
