This circa 1970s "Shed" style modern home was completely remodeled to create the clients' dream home. The old detached garage and deck were deleted and replaced with a garage addition with two bedrooms above with soaring vaulted ceilings. This addition also allowed for a mudroom, powder room, two walk-in pantry closets, and a home office on the main level. The rear of the house was bumped out and structural beams were added to provide for an open concept kitchen, dining, and family room. The kitchen features Fusion granite, concrete backsplash, and a wine bar. The existing roof of the living room was removed and turned to provide for a vaulted ceiling to a balcony and clerestory windows. The foyer and staircase to upper levels features floating treads and an LED chandelier. The upper levels include a guest bedroom with on-suite bathroom, a kids' bathroom, three kids' bedrooms, and the master suite which features a cable rail deck and pergola. The entire exterior of the house was replaced and all new aluminum clad windows and doors were installed throughout the old and new areas of the home. Expansive Trex decks complete the indoor/outdoor living for this project.
